About Dr. Bryskin

Personal History

Dr. Suzanne K. Bryskin was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended the University of Cincinnati on a full academic scholarship, where she graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, with dual degrees in Biology and Spanish literature.

She then went on to earn her medical degree at the University of Cincinnati, where she was selected for the Charlotte R. Schmidlapp scholarship, which is awarded on the basis of outstanding academic achievement, community involvement, leadership and involvement in women's health care.

Dr. Suzanne Bryskin

Following medical school, she completed her Internal Medicine Residency at NYU Langone Medical Center in midtown Manhattan. She was actively involved in the research of HIV Associated Nephropathy while at NYU.

She then completed her Nephrology fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. She performed clinical research looking at the treatment of anemia associated chronic kidney disease with erythropoietin stimulating agents.

She has been practicing Internal Medicine and Nephrology since 2008. She and her husband live in Maitland, FL with their 3 children.

Professional Affiliations

Dr. Bryskin is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology through the American Board of Internal Medicine.

 

She is also certified as a Hypertension Specialist through the American Society of Hypertension. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Nephrology.
